Wife of the former Senate President, Barr. Toyin Saraki has filed a libel case against three individuals in Ilorin who alleged that she acquired the Children’s Amusement Park in Ilorin for her personal use.
The respondents are Dr. Saliu Ajibola Ajia, Dr. Saad Omoiya, and Alhaji Saleh Duro Garba.
At the commencement of the case on Monday in Kwara State High Court, Ilorin, headed by Honourable Justice H. O. Ajayi, the court granted the prayer of the plaintiff’s counsel and ordered that the defendants be served through substituted means.
The defendants were not present in the court as the plaintiff’s counsel informed the court of his inability to serve them.
The judge noted that the process should be published in at least two local newspapers and one national daily.
The court also adjourned the matter till December 11th, 2023.
